DOWN TO NINE

My mom gave me a big lecture on how white bottoms should not be worn during the winter because this is the time for dark colors. It is a set rule and I can't break it. She just shook her head and threw on her black coat on top of a black shirt, paired with black jeans and black flats. Okay. 

As much as seasons will gear toward certain color groups, and as much as I embrace the colors popular for the time period, I definitely don't think we simply should stray away from the rest. My white jean was the first piece I picked out from my closet, while building around it with a hot pink and burnt orange sweater that I have been neglecting. The neutral tones with a flare of hardware on everything else I am wearing sums this up.
